Where It Started
Connor started this because he realized he could build something of his own.
After two years of culinary school and four years in the food industry doing regular food service and catering, Connor had already built a reputation through personal catering. Smokey Sasquatch became the next step toward going full time and expanding his career.

The Name
The Smokey Sasquatch name comes from Connor’s father.
Connor, who was born and raised in Utah had a father who taught him how to cook when he was eight years old. He was born and raised in the South, and that Southern cooking influence became part of Connor’s foundation.
The name Smokey Sasquatch is personal. Connor’s father has always reminded him and others of a Sasquatch, and they would watch Bigfoot shows together while Connor was growing up.
What could have just been a funny nickname became part of the brand’s identity. It connects the food, the smoke, the outdoors feeling, and the family story behind it.
